Silberstein, Ya'acov
Born in Tomaszów-Mazowiecki, Poland, in 1924, enrolled in the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva in 1937, arrest in Sept. 1939, deportation to the Buchenwald concentration camp, to the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp in Oct. 1942, death march in Jan. 1945 via Gleiwitz to Altenburg, liberation by U.S. Army in April 1945, emigration to the British Mandate of Palestine in 1947, now lives in Rishon Le-Zion, Israel.
